Candace’s approach to working with clients is very personal. Getting to know a family and listening to their unique stories allows her to build a stronger relationship and deeper understanding of their situation. Combining this empathy and desire to help others with her passion for financial planning, Candace is able to help families reach their financial goals as Vice President and Client Advisor at Glassman Wealth.

She works closely with other members of the Glassman Team to formulate and implement advice and individualized recommendations that best suit a client’s needs. With over a decade in the financial planning industry, having started her financial career as an intern in 2005, she utilizes her extensive knowledge to help clients plan for their future.

Candace is passionate about not only sharing her knowledge and expertise with clients, but also with those in underserved communities. She regularly volunteers with Junior Achievement to promote financial literacy to elementary and high school students, has volunteered with VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) to prepare tax returns for the elderly and low-income individuals during tax season, and has also served as a volunteer presenter with AARP during their Financial Freedom Event.

A native Virginian, Candace earned her Bachelor of Arts degree at University of Virginia, and her Certificate of Financial Planning (CFP®) from Boston University’s Center for Professional Education. She also holds the IRS designation of Enrolled Agent (EA), the highest credential that the IRS awards. She currently resides in Washington, D.C., with her miniature Golden-Doodle George.

Fun Fact: Candace is fluent in French, and spent nine months in Montpelier, France, teaching English to elementary and university students.
